delegate

Delegate / Brand study

Delegate, in
sixteen pixels.

An original mark for a small bridge to your agent. A simple D holds a thread; the warm palette belongs with Folio’s paper, type, and conversation.

01 / Direction

Three small ideas.

Threaded D is the live mark. Fold and Relay remain alternatives for comparison.

01 / ConceptRecommended

Threaded D

On paper
On ink

The D gives Delegate a readable initial. A sage thread enters its open center and turns inward, carrying a thought into the same conversation.

Fold

On paper
On ink

A folded corner turns a simple page into a small object. The inner step suggests a note kept close, with a quieter connection to the product name.

Relay

On paper
On ink

Two offset pieces share one path. The handoff is more explicit here; the silhouette is less directly tied to the Delegate initial.

02 / At a glance

Made to work small.

The same paths at four sizes, on both backgrounds. Each sample is shown at its labeled CSS size.

Dark ink

Use multiples of 16 px for whole-pixel scaling. The 24 px sample shows the intermediate size; the interface uses 32 px, growing to 64 px when text doubles.

03 / The supporting system

Paper, ink, a little sage.

The mark carries the page’s ink color. The standalone files use this sage palette; live headers adapt the thread to each theme’s darker or lighter focus color.

Editorial voice

A thought,
carried through.

Iowan Old Style, Palatino, or Georgia. A familiar serif for the large, quiet moments.

Interface voice

One thread.
Anywhere.

The system sans serif for labels, conversation, and the lowercase wordmark. No additional font download.

04 / Use

Give it a little room.

2 grid cells of clear space around the canvas.
At 32 px, that is 4 px on every side.

Keep the geometry intact.

  • Use the supplied filled paths on the 16 × 16 canvas. Keep edges square and the original proportions.
  • Use the two-color mark on paper or ink. Use a one-color export when the surface requires a single ink.
  • Keep the readable lowercase “delegate” beside the mark in navigation. The mark alone suits a favicon or app shortcut.
  • Scale the interface mark with its text. Keep home links at least 44 px tall and leave room for the label to grow.
  • Use the mark for Delegate’s identity. Hermes keeps its own name and avatar inside the conversation.

05 / Assets

Take the files with you.

SVGs preserve the original grid. Threaded D PNGs have a transparent background; favicon and touch-icon files include warm paper.
